Ram against Raavan, that fight goes on

Raavan was bigger, stronger, more powerful, some say more learned and certainly more intelligent (signified by his ten heads).

Raavan and Ram both were knowledgeable about the art and science of the day. Both Ram and Ravan practiced meditation and sadhana.

The difference was that Ram had love in his heart. Raavan... pride.

Ram fought for his people. Raavan for himself.

Raavan thought of Ram as foolish, naïve and weak.

People fought and died for Raavan out of fear and respect.

People fought and died for Ram because they loved him so much.

Ram against Raavan. That fight still goes on amongst us and within us.
